After a week’s break, the league will return for Week 17 on John Chilembwe Day with five matches scheduled across the country.
These fixtures will be crucial for Ascent Academy and FCB Nyasa Big Bullets Women, who are competing for second and third place. Ascent will face Kukoma Ntopwa Queens, while Bullets Women take on Civil Service United.
Additional Week 17 matches include MDF Lioness versus Mighty Wanderers Queens, Moyale Sisters against Topik Academy, and MK Academy facing Silver Strikers Ladies.
FAM rescheduled Week 17 matches, which were originally set for the final week, to allow Silver Strikers Ladies—who had been scheduled to travel to Mzuzu—to celebrate their championship at home.
Silver Strikers Ladies have dominated the season with 42 points from 14 wins and just two defeats. Ascent Academy and Bullets Women round out the top three.
The league has also confirmed the three relegated teams: MK Academy, Topik Academy, and Moyale Sisters occupy the bottom three positions respectively.
