Macdonald “Nginde” Mtetemera was a man who received credits after Chitipa United performed wonders in the 2023 TNM Super League.
The Inkhalamu Zga ku Chitipa managed to finish fourth last season which was to the surprise of football lovers as they have been relegated to the lower league three times.
Nginde dumped the Northern Region-based side to join the newly promoted team, CRECK Sporting Club. The Central Region Football team marked their journey in the 2024 season in an admirable fashion.

Mighty Waka Waka Tigers were the victims of Mtetemera’s tactical twists as they suffered a shock 3-1 defeat on Sunday at Civo Stadium.

Speaking after the game, Mtetemera, former Silver Strikers Coach, hailed the performance of his “young lads” saying winning their first game will give them confidence in the coming fixtures.
“New team, first game and a win is a very nice one,” he said. “These guys are very young, and it’s a youthful team. I just told them what is good and what is bad.”
Wali is a leader in CRECK

Hadji Wali made his return to the Super League after leaving Bangwe All Stars. CRECK is his fourth team in the elite league after playing for Silver Strikers and FCB Nyasa Big Bullets.
He returned to the elite league with a brilliant mark as he put CRECK in front with a brilliant free-kick.
Despite the goal, his leadership at the back proved to be important for the newcomers and it was spiced up by his assist to Dalitso Nahipa.
“He is a good guy and he just needs to be told what to do like other guys. These are young lads,” added Mtetemera.
CRECK Sporting Club are now topping the table with Silver Strikers coming second. They will face Moyale Barracks in their next game.
