FCB Nyasa Big Bullets Head Coach Peter Mponda has confirmed that Kenyan defender Clyde Senaji will miss the upcoming Airtel Top 8 Cup semifinal match against Karonga United on Saturday.
Senaji has been absent from team training following his first-half substitution in the recent Blantyre Derby loss to Mighty Wanderers FC.
Senaji was reportedly upset after being replaced by Frank Willard during the derby. His absence has continued, leading him to miss the subsequent match against Mighty

Senaji was reportedly upset after being replaced by Frank Willard during the derby. His absence has continued, leading him to miss the subsequent match against Mighty Tigers and a friendly against Moyale Barracks.
“Definitely, he is out [of the game against Karonga United] because he hasn’t been training with us,” Mponda stated during a pre-match press conference in Blantyre. “He asked for a leave and we gave him.”
Senaji joined Bullets in March 2023 on a one-year deal, which was extended in January 2024 and is set to expire in February.
