Mpira Mmudzi Mwathu (MMM), in partnership with Ebenezer Investments and Dulux Paints by Silkon Limited, on Friday morning donated football and netball jerseys together with match balls to Mbinzi Secondary School in Area 3, Lilongwe.
Mbinzi Secondary is among the institutions hosting students supported through the MMM bursary programme.

The gesture follows a pledge made in March this year when MMM unveiled its 2025 jersey and conducted a tree-planting exercise at the school. Today’s visit was aimed at honouring that commitment.
Ebenezer Investments Managing Director and MMM platinum sponsor, Mrs Jane Mfune, led the delegation. Addressing the students, Mrs Mfune stressed the importance of balancing sporting ambitions with academic responsibilities.
She also used the occasion—coinciding with World Aids Day—to encourage learners to avoid risky behaviours that could expose them to HIV.

MMM Schools Manager, Ms Linda Kasenda, said choosing Mbinzi was part of giving back to the community in which the organisation operates.
“Mbinzi is like our adopted child. Some of our bursary beneficiaries learn here, and we felt it wise to motivate them by providing sports equipment. MMM believes in creating a safe and conducive environment for the kids,” she said.
Mbinzi sports master, Wezi Moyo, hailed the donation, saying the school has long struggled with a shortage of sports equipment. He appealed to other well-wishers to emulate MMM’s example.
The jersey donation forms part of a series of activities lined up by the grassroots football organisation ahead of its end-of-year tournament set for 13 December at Lilongwe Golf Club.
