A brace from Precious Tsoka and an excellent strike from Joe Misoya helped Mkutu make a 3-1 comeback victory against Dedza Eagles on Friday in the Castel Challenge Cup as they advance to the next round.
The Senior Chief Kamenyagwaza based side fell behind from a Felix Makawa strike but that was the turning point of the game as it rise towards the semifinals of the competition.

They become the fourth side to book a place to the next round of the competition in Dedza district following Blue City, Kalinyeke FC and Thete FC who claimed their victories within the week.
One of the senior officials for Dedza District Football Association (DDFA) Christopher Zinyongo who watched today’s game at Dedza Stadium expressed satisfaction with the progress of the competition so far.
“We are glad with the whole competition reaching this far and we hope we will conclude the remaining games in a proper manner,” Zinyongo said.
He commended referees for their professionalism throughout the competition indicating that the best teams are winning based on their performance.
“They have done well since day one and we urge them to stay focused as we are reaching crucial stages in the competition,” he added.
The next game will see Mua Boys taking on Free Pirates at Dedza Stadium on Saturday, September 27th, 2025.
