The relationship between Alick Lungu and JCC Football Agency has collapsed before the materialization of their initial agreement, Wa Mpira can reveal.
Lungu had agreed with the UK-based Football Agency in a deal that would see the Agency hunting for a European club for the Flames full-back.
The agreement prompted the youngster left-back to rebuff FCB Nyasa Big Bullets’ contract extension proposal, a development that saw the club banning him from training with the team until his contract expired in May.

According to sources, JCC Football Agency decided to pull out of the deal after the defender signed a short-term contract with Ekhaya Football Club.
A source familiar with the development said, “JCC Football Agency recruited Lungu to find a club for him in Europe, but their contract collapsed when he and his manager decided to sign for Ekhaya.”
Ekhaya set to sign Alick Lungu on long-term deal

The TNM Super League debutants, Ekhaya Football Club, are set to tie the Flames full-back, Alick Lungu, to a long-term contract just after playing one game, reports Times Sports.
Lungu played his first game for the club last weekend when Ekhaya played a goalless draw against Blue Eagles, and the administration is impressed with his performance and ready to offer him an enticing deal to keep him at the Club.
“Ekhaya Football Club has dangled a lucrative deal worthy MK1.5 Million Monthly to entice the Malawi National Team left-back to sign a long-term contract with the Cowboys,” writes Times Sports.
The Club is also offering Lungu a game bonus of MK100,000 and executive membership on a medical scheme.
We are seriously considering signing for Ekhaya- Lungu’s Manager

Alick Lungu’s Manager, Jonathan Ntchindi Mhango, said they are now seriously considering signing with Ekhaya Football Club, arresting rumors that have linked the player to Europe.
Mhango said he is planning to meet the player in person and discuss the issue before announcing their next move.
“He [Alick Lungu] might sign a long-term contract at Ekhaya. We are giving it serious consideration. I will be meeting him personally for a talk,” Mhango tells Times Sports.
Alick started playing for Bullets main team in 2021 and won three league titles, two Airtel Top 8 Cups, two FDH Bank Cups, among other trophies. He is an established left-back for the National Team.
“Alick is a fantastic addition to our squad. I have worked with him during our time at Bullets reserves, I am aware of his abilities. His experience at both club and international level will be crucial for us as we continue with our games,” said Ekhaya FC Head Coach, Enos Chatama, when he was signing a short-term contract.
