Sources who opted for anonymity have confided in this publication that everything now points to Khumbo Banda of Premier Bet Dedza Dynamos joining FCB Nyasa Big Bullets.
Wa Mpira has learnt that personal terms have already been agreed, and there are no issues between the two clubs.
This publication first reported on the potential move during the preseason, when the Bullets technical panel expressed interest in the towering fullback.

Banda was even named in the Malawi national team’s 27-man provisional squad for the African Nations Championship (CHAN) qualifiers playoff against the Comoros Islands.
At the time, it was reported that his inclusion served as an opportunity to prove his worth—setting the stage for a possible move to Bullets during the preseason transfer window.
Then, Banda turned down a contract extension from his current club, Dedza Dynamos, who had reportedly offered a signing-on fee of around K2.5 million for an additional two years on his expiring deal.
Information accessed by Wa Mpira suggests Banda will travel to Blantyre either today or Friday morning. He is expected to sign the contract on Friday and be officially unveiled as a new Bullets player.
It appears to be a well-timed decision. Reports from South Africa indicate that Durban City is in talks with Bullets to sign defender Blessings Mpokera—and Banda may be poised to step into the void.
Banda started this campaign on a high, registering four assists in Dedza’s opening match against CRECK Sporting Club.
Some Revelations About the Move
Former FCB Nyasa Big Bullets Head Coach Kalisto Pasuwa recommended the player to his successor, Mponda.Banda was then included in the Flames’ provisional squad for assessment.
However, since Bullets signed other defenders — Andrew Jovinala, Chikumbutso Henderson, Blessings Joseph, and Henry Chiwaya — Mponda was initially less inclined to add another defender.
Now, with Mpokera on the verge of leaving and Mponda unimpressed with Henderson, who might be loaned out, the technical panel has decided to settle for Banda.
Bullets and Dedza Dynamos have agreed on a K4 million transfer fee.
The player will receive K5 million as a signing-on fee, and K600,000 as a monthly salary, plus training and match bonuses.
The duration of the contract will be disclosed during the unveiling by his new club, Bullets.
