Happy Nomads fly higher as they hammer CRECK Sporting Club

Mighty Mukuru Wanderers produced a splendid performance to complete their happiness mood in style as they beat Creck Sporting Club 3-0 to move up to the top of the standings at the Kamuzu Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

Stanley Sanudi scored from the spot before assisting Christopher Kumwembe for a second in the first half and Gaddie Chirwa hit the final nail in the second half to seal the win for the Nomads.

Deputy coach for the team, Meke Mwase, thanked his boys for their display in the match and that he hopes the team continue with their brilliant performance in the coming games.

“I should thank the boys for their beautiful play that made us win and I think we gave them courage to play the game so that they win. We got a lot of chances and it’s not good that we missed them so we will go back to training and sort out this.” Said Mwase.

Meanwhile, head coach for the rookies, Macdonald Mtetemera, said his boys were not in good shape making them to bow down to the Nomads in the match.

“We were completely down, we could not play the way we do and I don’t know why, we will go back to the trainings and we will comeback stronger.” Said Mtetemera.

The Nomads were aggressive from the first minutes as Gaddie Chirwa forced a save from Charles Chisale before Stanley Sanudi shouting over the bar and Chirwa was denied by Chisale again on 13 minutes as the Nomads dominated. An advancing Timothy Silwimba was fouled on the box and Stanley Sanudi converted on 19th minute before Gift Kadawati and Babangida Ishaya having their shots blocked and Francis Phiri headed wide in a corner kick.

Blessings Singini was replaced by Balikinho Mwakanyongo due to injury on 25th minute then Christopher Kumwembe had a miss before doubling the scores from a Sanudi’s well taken corner kick on 36th minute and the forward together with Mwakanyongo had their attempts missed in the half.

George Chaomba, Hardy Ng’andu and Ademola Ajibola were introduced for Akuzike Lifa, Gift Kadawati and Tathedwa Willard for Creck then Hadji Wali nearly sent the ball into the net as he was clearing Clement Nyondo’s shot and Chirwa and Kumwembe had missed on 50th minute as the Nomads continued dominance.

Chipuwa saved Dalitso Nahipa’s shot before Ishaya’s goal was chalked out for an offside after Chaomba’s bicycle kick hit the post then Francisco Madinga replaced Nyondo on 63rd minute whereas Nahipa and Phiri were replaced by Arnold Kiyama and Yasin Chida. Chisale denied Madinga on 75th minute with a great save then a blander by Hadji Wali allowed Chirwa to score his first goal of the season with Mpinganjira hitting the post in the added time but the game ended in favour of the Nomads.

Following the win, the Nomads sit top of the standings with 7 points having won two games and drawn once while Creck Sporting Club are on position 5 with 6 points from three games they have played this season.
