Gwengwe wins golden boot in the UK

United Kingdom based Malawian forward, Shaquille Gwengwe, has won the golden boot award at Dorchester Town for the second time after managing to score 17 goals in the just-ended season in Southern Region South Division in England.

This has been disclosed by the team on Sunday following the end of the 2023/24 league campaign that saw them finish 9th on the table.

“The striker finished top of the goalscoring charts for a second season in a row with 17 goals this time around after another impressive season with us at The Avenue.” Wrote the club.

The English born Malawian has eligible to play for Malawi and England if he chooses for international football.
