Ekhaya Head Coach Enos Chatama has called for his players to maintain a positive mentality as they host Kamuzu Barracks this afternoon at Mpira Stadium in a TNM Super League match.
The Cowboys are heading into the game hoping to record their second win in the second round of the season after their convincing 4-1 victory over struggling Songwe Border FC.

Chatama’s boys have scores to settle against Kamuzu Barracks, who beat them 1-0 in the first round, but they know it won’t be an easy ride against the military side.
Speaking to the club’s media on Tuesday, Head Coach Chatama said his players need to maintain a positive mentality to keep their momentum and avoid relegation.
“We can say that we have worked hard for this game. We had a break for at least a week, and we believe the boys’ focus has now switched to the TNM Super League match against Kamuzu Barracks.
“We cannot talk about the KB–Bullets game. Games differ—the way they will play against Ekhaya and the way they played Bullets will be different. We are focused. KB are a good team who beat us 1-0 in Mponela in the first round. We have to take this game seriously.
“The mentality has to be positive. We need to be confident enough when we take them on tomorrow. Though we know it will be a tough game, we are ready.
“We have lost points due to some factors—both our own and external influences. All in all, we are ready to play football. We want to keep the momentum and maintain our rhythm so that we can survive relegation,” he said.
Ekhaya are heading into this midweek assignment sitting 6th with 29 points from 19 games. Kamuzu Barracks, on the other hand, are 8th with 26 points from 19 games.
KB are looking to bounce back from their recent 2-1 defeat to FCB Nyasa Big Bullets in the FDH Bank Cup.
