As the K25 million Chipiku Stores Premier Division League 2025 first round draws to a close, the Central Region Football Association (CRFA) has announced that the second registration and transfer window will open on 11th October 2025.
The transfer window will run for one week, closing on 18th October, according to CRFA General Secretary Antonio Manda.

Manda has appealed to all teams to follow proper procedures when acquiring players and to complete all registrations within the stipulated timeframe.
“The transfer window opens on 11th October, and during this period, all affiliated teams are encouraged to register new players or make necessary transfers in accordance with CRFA regulations. Teams are reminded to strictly follow all procedures and ensure that all documentation is complete and submitted within the stipulated timeframe. Late submissions or incomplete documentation will not be accepted,” Manda explained.

In a bid to complete the league by December, CRFA has announced there will be no first-round break. Teams will be required to play two games per week—one midweek and one during the weekend.
“Our programmes are aligned with those of the Football Association of Malawi (FAM). Therefore, we will not have a first-round break so that we can complete the season by December. Teams will be playing two games per week, and no unnecessary excuses will be tolerated. Games will only be postponed in cases involving player or official injuries and other serious unforeseeable situations such as accidents,” Manda added.
The first round is expected to conclude on 15th October. Blue Eagles Reserve currently lead the league with 35 points after completing their fixtures, followed by Extreme FC with 32 points, three points behind the leaders.
