Chilobwe United Football Club has announced the appointment of seasoned coach Rodgers Yasin as the club’s new Technical Director, the move is aimed at bolstering the team’s ambitions for promotion to the National Division.
Yasin brings a wealth of experience and tactical knowledge to Chilobwe United, having previously coached some of Malawi’s most prominent football clubs, including giants Nyasa Big Bullets FC, Tigers FC, Masters Security, and Bangwe All Stars. His proven track record at the highest level of Malawian football is expected to be a significant asset in guiding Chilobwe United towards their promotion goals.
Expressing his enthusiasm for the new role, Yasin highlighted his deep connection to the community. “I’m thrilled to be joining Chilobwe United,” he stated. “As a Chilobwean myself, I’ve stayed in this community for over 30 years, and now my passion is home. I’m eager to work tirelessly to help Chilobwe United attain promotion and bring pride to our community.”

Club General Secretary, Mr. Benham Benty-Pro Chinombo, echoed Yasin’s excitement, emphasizing the local connection. “We’re thrilled to have Mr. Yasin on board,” said Chinombo. “He’s a true Chilobwean son, and we know he’ll do everything in his power to help us achieve our goals.”
