Bullets, Hubertus renew sponsorship as prize money for POTM hikes

FCB Nyasa Big Bullets and Hubertus Clausius, have renewed their partnership for a further three years as the Insurance company hikes the prize money for the winner of the Player of the Month.

In the new partnership, the prize money has been extended from K100, 000 to K300, 000.

Speaking after the signing the agreement, Hubertus Clausius Financial Managing Director, Malinda Chinyama said the company considered extending the contract since they fully understand the importance of motivating players.

“We have extended the contract to continue motivating FCB Nyasa Big Bullets players to bring more glory to the club. At the same time, the agreement puts our brand visible to the public,” he said.

The team’s Chief Executive Officer, Suzgo Nyirenda has welcomed the development saying it is a good initiative towards the commercialisation drive the club is currently on.

He has further urged Bullets supporters to embrace doing business with the Insurance broker as an appreciation for what the company is doing towards the growth of the club.

On the part of players, the club’s captain, Precious Sambani was all thankful for the contract renewal and the reward increment.

He explained, “We thank Hubertus Clausius for committing to motivate us players. We managed to win a quadruple last season courtesy of this motivation. We promise to keep working hard and win more titles for the club.”

Hubertus Clausius has been sponsoring the Player of the Month awards at FCB Nyasa Big Bullets since 2022, and the new contract agreement will run up until 2027.
