After taking Monday off, the team was scheduled to hold their first training session on Tuesday morning. However, they were denied stadium access by Chitipa District Council, reportedly acting on “orders from Chitipa United’s management.”
Sources close to the situation confirmed that Bullets players remain confined to their hotel rooms while the club’s management works to resolve the issue.
“FCB Nyasa Big Bullets is being denied use of Chitipa Stadium for training. They haven’t trained today and as of now, players are still in their respective rooms,” the source said.
With no alternative training venue available in Chitipa, Bullets face the prospect of going without proper training sessions until Friday—just one day before their crucial match.
Bullets were ready to pay the Chitipa District Council for the pitch usage but their proposal was turned down.
The situation raises concerns about fair play and access to facilities, particularly given that Bullets are the visiting team preparing for a match against the very club whose management allegedly issued the denial order.
This is a developing story, we are in contact with Chitipa District Council and Chitipa United on this, keep on visiting our website
